In Romania, most women are diagnosed with cancer in advanced stages, due to low education, geographical and financial barriers, complicated path through the medical system, but also due to the lack or poor promotion of screening programs. Thus, over 3,000 people are diagnosed with cancer annually.  The Globalworth Foundation aims to support health and access to health care, starting from the idea that nothing can be done without a solid foundation in this area. To date, the total amount allocated by the Globalworth Foundation in breast cancer prevention programs of the Renașterea Foundation is over 130,000 euros.
