Between September 14 and September 15, 2022, the 15th edition of Real Estate & Construction Forum has been successfully completed, an event attended by over 200 participants, both at JW Marriott Bucharest Grand Hotel and online. During the two days of the event organized by Business Mark, there were 32 specialists who debated the trends of the real estate market, within the panels focusing on retail, industrial & logistics, office & residential.
The discussions were about sustainability, energy efficiency, the impact of rising costs on these segments, the implications of inflation, the increase in energy prices, but also about digitalization and automation, elements that actively contribute to the development of these sectors.
Within the office panel, moderated by Lucian Opriș, Globalworth was represented by Andrei Boca, Senior Leasing Manager:
“Working from home leads to flexibility. There is a constant increase in the occupancy of spaces – we started from 100%, but the effects of returning to the office after two years of pandemic and working from home, cannot be visible in a few weeks. Nevertheless, the increase is noticeable. There are companies that still prefer working from home at 100%, but others are making efforts to bring as many employees as possible back to the office. Other companies are dealing with confidential data and their work cannot be done in coffee shops or other locations. We improve the projects by bringing in facilities and by being flexible.”
