Quattro Business Park meets the world’s highest digital connection standards

Quattro Business Park is the first office complex in Central and Eastern Europe to be awarded the globally-recognized WiredScore certificate with the highest rating of Platinum. This confirms that all five buildings that comprise the Kraków business centre meet the highest global standards for the resilience and quality of their digital and wireless infrastructure.

With the growing role of technology in the workplace, digital communications have become increasingly important to companies. New office buildings are becoming more technologically advanced, providing innovative solutions to tenants and their employees. Quattro Business Park was built eight years ago, but despite this, it is still more advanced than most newer buildings and meets global standards for technology, which is demonstrated by the award of the globally-recognised WiredScore certificate with a rating of Platinum.

“The award of a WiredScore with the highest rating of Platinum is a significant achievement for us. It demonstrates our commitment to creating the best services and standards while at the same time preparing every building in Quattro Business Park for the future and the technological changes to come. It is part of a coherent strategy undertaken by Globalworth to shape modern workspaces through their digital transformation.  We concentrate on providing our tenants with the highest-class technological solutions, and, as a result, our offices are more efficient, safe, and technologically advanced in regard to innovative solutions. Our tenants can be sure that the digital communications within the building are of the highest quality on the market and meet the global guidelines of WiredScore” – says Przemysław Kiwer, the Property Management Director for Southern Poland at Globalworth Poland.

Globalworth, the owner and manager of the centre was led through the certification process by the consultancy Colliers.

“An unbroken digital connection is one of the most important amenities for tenants to run their businesses from an office building. Most of us understand this well because we have all had difficulties at one time or another with intermittent internet connections or catching a GSM signal. From a large business’s point of view, such difficulties represent huge costs. For these reasons, global organizations apply WiredScore guidelines to their technical standards to add redundancy to the infrastructure and secure the technological buildings where they lease their offices. We believe that working with owners to certify the readiness of their buildings for the future, thus demonstrating a commitment to the development of digital communications technology, will allow decision-makers to choose an office location to sleep soundly at night. During the certification of Quattro Business Park, we confirmed the resilience of the network architecture to changes and breakdowns, the diversification of network connections and their distribution, and also that a wide range of digital services were on offer throughout the complex,” comments Renata Hartle, Strategic Advisory, Colliers Poland.

“We are pleased that WiredScore certification has come to the Kraków market. Furthermore, Quattro Business Park being awarded the highest rating of Platinum demonstrates that Globalworth, the owner and manager, is thinking of the future, understands the changing world, and is fully committed to providing the tenants, users, and guests of its business park with world-class digital communications,” states Laura Klair, Head of CEE at WiredScore.

WiredScore Certification was launched in 2013 in New York to meet the needs of business tenants to improve the technical condition of office buildings. Currently, over 3,800 buildings across 36 countries around the world have joined the Wired Score certification program.
