Pedet Renoma – a unique space that is winning the hearts of Wrocław food lovers

Pedet Renoma was created to win the hearts of the food lovers of Wrocław and it was designed to be a distinctive culinary space in Lower Silesia. This new concept for the historic space of what once was the Wertheim department store has opened its doors to customers and is already growing in popularity.

Pedet is situated in the Renoma centre on the pl. Czystego side. The best chefs run restaurants over a 700 sqm space with dishes that mirror the latest street food trends. This unique space where history, food, and culture intertwine was opened on December 8, 2023. Visitors already have four concepts from respected restaurateurs to choose from. The unique flavours of Italian, Spanish, Belgian, and American cuisine are served up by people of passion. The dominant feature of Pedet is a spectacular bar with a separate zone for cultural and artistic events.

The interior designed by Wrocław studio 3XA makes a lasting impression. The designers drew inspiration from the 60s and 70s, which were the heyday of Wrocław’s Pedet. The new interior, in effect, reinterprets Renoma’s combination of art deco style and elegance. The design also features post-war features when the building operated as the Powszechny Dom Towarowy, more popularly known as Pedet.

“The character of Pedet is fully reflected in its name; it offers a unique culinary concept that is fully grounded in its location and its history. The distinctive culinary concepts of reputable neighbourhood restaurateurs predominate the food on offer. The exceptional style can also be seen in the interior design and the characteristic architectural details. Eventually, the space will be home to seven original culinary concepts that will encourage visitors to discover new tastes and to celebrate the culture of food. Pedet Renoma provides a valuable form of recreation and a place for the local community to meet. From the very beginning, it was of great importance to us to prepare the place visually, to carefully select the music, and to bring in art,” comments Barbara Wójcik, the Asset Management & Leasing Director at Globalworth Poland.
