Globalworth launches the grown-up playground, a celebration to remind us that playing has many mental health benefits for adults

To celebrate the 1st of June, International Children’s Day, Globalworth created The Grown-Up Playground, a space where tenants from our office buildings can enjoy a little playtime and unwind from their daily activities. An invitation to have a moment of pure fun as we used to when we were kids.

In our hectic, modern lives, we sometimes get so caught up in our commitments that we never seem to have time for small moments of pure fun just for ourselves.

Play has the power to relieve stress. Games can connect us to our loved ones and friends. They strengthen our relationships and build our mental power. Playing can make us understand that sometimes losing is ok and how to have a healthy competition spirit.

This year, to celebrate International Children’s Day, Globalworth decided to remind everyone that we should never forget to have a little fun every day like we had when we were kids. Even if it’s at the office, at home or in our free time.

To do so, Globalworth created a colorful and engaging playground in the courtyard of the Globalworth Campus. People can choose to play several games and enjoy some moments of pure fun.

Every game is unique, and they enable us to discover more about our behavior. We can learn new skills or rediscover the importance of others. They can help us socialize better or find out new things about co-workers and friends.

Visit the Globalworth Campus buildings until June 10th, to rediscover games we used to play in our childhood such as Hopscotch, Tic-Tac-Toe and many more. The playground has a QR code embedded in its design. People can scan the code to find out the rules and perks and benefits of each game from our Grown-up Playground.

Play gives us energy. Play keeps us feeling younger.

Don’t forget to play a little every day!
