Margareta of Romania Royal Foundation & Globalworth Foundation, a partnership for the artistic future of Romania

The new scholars of the Young Talents program 2020 – Margareta of Romania Royal Foundation – have just been announced.

In January this year, the Margaret of Romania Royal Foundation organized a national selection open to young people aged between 14 and 24, who study at music and art high schools and universities countrywide. Following an assessment conducted by a specialized jury, 30 young artists were enrolled in the program Young Talents, the 2020 edition – Dimitris Pergamalis, Head of Construction & Development at Globalworth and a real art lover, was a member of the jury, in the Visual Arts category.

As a result of the national selection, HERE we have the final list with the young artists in visual arts and music who will benefit from the scholarships that will allow them to buy materials, instruments and to participate in competitions, concerts, exhibitions and specialization courses in Romania and abroad. In these difficult isolation times, the young artists will do individual study, and with the help of the scholarships, they will be able to buy the instrument accessories needed and sheet music. The online mentoring meetings offered by the Young Talents program and the topics proposed by the mentors will help them to evolve artistically.

The Young Talents is a program granted by Globalworth Foundation with the amount of Euro 50,000 which supports and promotes artists from humble families who cannot develop their potential because of the lack of resources. During the year, they will receive individual grants of up to 2,000 euros for their artistic development. Moreover, they will have the possibility to participate in national and international competitions, master classes and workshops, to purchase instruments and working materials. Along the year, the youths will also have the opportunity to meet mentors – renowned artists and personalities of the artistic world.
