The Globalworth Foundation supported the Race for the Cure 2020

The Globalworth Foundation supported the sixth edition of the Race for the Cure 2020, the largest and the most successful fundraising and informing event for women's health.

For 3 days, Europe turned pink thanks to the Renasterea Foundation & Race for the Cure 2020, a digital event supported by Globalworth Foundation to help breast cancer patients. Over 500,000 euros have been raised to be used in cancer prevention, screening and support programs for cancer patients.

Georgiana Iliescu, Executive Director of the Globalworth Foundation, participated at the press conference that announced the involvement of our foundation and said that: “By funding such campaigns, we want to emphasize once again the importance of prevention programs for women's health and periodic medical control in the early detection of breast cancer. So far, the total amount donated by the Globalworth Foundation for the breast cancer prevention programs developed by the Renasterea Foundation is over 130,000 euros.”

1,237 Romanians, including Globalworth employees, took part in the biggest run&walk in Europe. With their support, 1,237 women will benefit from free medical tests.

Among the 115 teams that supported the Renasterea Foundation in Romania there were celebrities such as Andreea Esca, Ada Condeescu, Inna, Iuliana Tudor, Alice Peneaca, Alexandra Dinu, Dana Rogoz, Catalina Ponor, important football teams etc. The registration of each participant consisted in a minimum donation of 50 lei, which was automatically transformed into free medical investigations for women who cannot afford these vital tests.
