The Globalworth employees ran to raise funds for Hospice Casa Speranței

Last weekend, between 30-31 October, 17 Globalworth volunteers joined one of the Globalworth Foundation`s causes and chose to run for the biggest running event in Romania: Bucharest Marathon. Due to their dedication, the Globalworth employees raised vital funds for children and adults with incurable diseases in Romania. The funds were redirected to the Hospice Casa Speranței Foundation, the only organisation in Romania offering a full range of palliative care services to adults and children suffering from oncological advanced diseases and terminal stages.

Globalworth Foundation is a traditional partner of the palliative care center Hospice Casa Speranței. The collaboration between the two organizations started in 2006, when the first hospice palliative care program was introduced in Romania. Over the years, Globalworth and Globalworth Foundation have contributed with more than 600,000 euros to building the new Hospice center, while the Globalworth volunteers have participated in various competitions to raise funds for Hospice Casa Sperantei.

We need to keep offering vital support to those who desperately need it. This year, it couldn’t be more important to support one another and continue raising money for the most vulnerable children and young people. Let’s keep running, let’s keep helping our community!
