Globalworth Foundation is grateful once again to be part of programmes aiming to help people get through health problems. We just had the honour to be one of the sponsors for HOSPICE Edelweiss Ball 2021, the most important charity event of the year organized by our long-term partner, HOSPICE – Casa Speranței.
During the event, which took place on Wednesday 26th of May, funds were raised within an auction with the aim of providing free services to children and adults facing an incurable disease.
About the partnership between Globalworth Foundation and Hospice Casa Speranței Foundation
The partnership between the Globalworth Foundation and the Hospice Casa Sperantei Foundation has been in place for 9 years, and our support consisted of over € 620,000 invested both in direct palliative care services for children and adults suffering from incurable diseases and in the construction of the new Hospice in Bucharest.
The programme we are running with the Hospice Casa Speranței Foundation answers to the mission we have undertaken, to improve the life of people in Romania through healthcare and educational projects.
During the past two years, we focused on broadening access to specialised palliative home care services for people suffering from oncology disorders in Brașov and Bucharest.
Together, we have developed and consolidated, over a two-year period, the palliative home care service, by carrying out specific interventions for over 1,441 adult oncology patients and over 8,081 house calls.
