Renault Group, Globalworth’s biggest tenant

In August 2017, we’ve started the construction of the Renault Bucharest Connected office building. Yves Caracatzanis, Managing Director Groupe Renault Romania, Cécile de Guillebon, Global Alliance Facility Director, and Dimitris Raptis, our Deputy Chief Executive Officer & Chief Investment Officer, headed the event that marked the beginning of the works for the first Bucharest management headquarters meant to improve work conditions for Renault employees and the group’s efficiency.

The new complex will host 3,000 employees who will benefit from conference rooms, research rooms and showrooms, all designed to increase the global performance of the Renault Group.

“This is the largest leasing transaction ever recorded on the Bucharest office market and the first investment we’re making in the western part of Bucharest. This consolidates our position even more as a leader of Romania’s office real estate market. Moreover, Renault will become our biggest tenant and it’s an honour for us to host the largest and most influential corporation in Romania. Last but not least, it confirms that our strategy to invest in premium and energy-efficient buildings meets the needs of our tenants”, said Dimitris Raptis.

Renault Bucharest Connected will be developed by Elgan Offices Ltd., on Preciziei street, close to public transport means, Titu Technical Center and Mioveni factory. The class A office will comprise 47,000 sqm and will host a Renault Group showroom, 1,000 parking spots, an amphitheatre with 350 seats, a restaurant, medical office and IT infrastructure.
